Electrolux nimble vacuum5/26/2023 ![]() ![]() Simple things like carpet height adjustment, switchable motor speeds and easier attachment use. Pricepointwise, I think some of the new bagless uprights will give Dyson a run for the money due to features not found on a lot of what Dyson has on the market. Thanks for the very descriptive pictures. Hopefully, the Nimble will get proper marketing. I definitely like the looks of this machine - I really get a "Miele S7" vibe from its exterior (It's actually how I imagined that patented bag-less Miele that never game to fruition). One particular Lowes associate remarked that he thought that the Nimble is better constructed than the Dyson, doesn't feel as flimsy and twisty at the handle, looks more upscale, and was surprised by the price and warranty of the machine when they first arrive. Honestly, even if Electrolux forced Lowes to bump up the price another $100, it would still be a much better value than the Dyson DC25 Animal at $549. People who buy the sharks are cheapies and they just want to justify their purchase.Hello Venson: Yep, $299 is the going rate for the green unit over at Lowes right now, even though the Electrolux website listed a $399 MSRP. Always getting returns on sharks and progressives. The shark’s belt broke real early and once i replaced it the motor was already kaput. I have none of those issues with our dyson, but I would still like to get a backup vacuum and will probably be ordering this Electrolux…best buy sells it for $399…and with a 5 year warranty that’s a huge discount. Another negative I read was regarding the “sweeping space” of the navigator and with a big house, the shark takes a lot more time. I steered clear of the Shark based on those negative reviews. Another negative I read is that is does awful on hardwood floors and blows stuff around because of where the vent is located (on the front). Has your belt broken yet? I’ve also read their customer service is awful, and if something goes wrong it’s impossible to get them to do anything. ![]() I have read multiple times that the Shark is great until the belt breaks, and then it’s nearly impossible to find a belt and makes the vacuum useless. We have a dc33 but I’m looking for an additional vacuum. I have done a lot of research on the Shark Navigator. Question for you if you are still lurking? I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY SHARK Navigator lift away pro! It’s a sealed vacuum, powerful, easy to use, kicks Dyson’s a$$, for a fraction of the price! I dont know about this electrolux vacuum, never owned one, but find it hard to believe it can even compete with my Shark. Some of the 1-star reviews talk about broken parts (which Electrolux has updated) Anyways, this is my summary. ![]() If I had to rate it based on the reviews alone I’d probably give it a 4 star review. The washable filter is also easy to clean. It gets put together really easily in minutes, and moves easily. Warning that review is massive, but they definitely put a lot of work into their review.Ī lot of reviewers did say this has good suction and the 30ft power cord is really helpful. Here is a 4 Star review from someone who owned a Dyson DC33 and they really liked it. Also this vacuum might have a problem with wood floors. With a 5-year warranty you should be covered pretty fine to any issues that happen in the semi-distant future. Seems like Electrolux is aware of their crappy parts and issued Re-Designs. Looks like the vacuum doesn’t handle pet hair very well and the attachments and tools leave a lot to be desired. 45 4+ star reviews and fifteen 1 or 2 star reviews. 243.44 at Amazon 3.5 star review average. ![]()
